We will bring you the very best in local food and drink, through interesting video profiles, unique TV programmes, entertaining cookery shows, inspirational video recipes, reports, interviews, news and much more. Our channel is completely free to view, and by using the power of online video, our aim is to support local food producers and consumers, connecting consumers with producers in a fresh and innovative way.

We also have a Local Food Finder video directory, which not only lists producers that are passionate about their products, but in some cases also allows the viewer to "visit" the producer, meet the people behind the produce and see first hand where it has come from, or how it is made.

We're here to champion the UK's food and drink producers!

We're here to champion the UK's food and drink producers!

The Local Food Channel is the UK's first and only IPTV channel, dedicated to the UK's food and drink industry.

Through the power of video, we're here to champion the producers behind some of the finest food this country has to offer and help put foodies and consumers in touch with food producers from all over the country to find local, fresh and sustainable produce.

Our team consists of TV producers, directors, editors, cameramen and journalists who specialise in food-related programming and writing. Our aim is to use our collective passion and media production experience to promote local, high quality, food and drink whilst at the same time create informative and entertaining programming.

We'll be bringing you regular video news bulletins, keeping you up to date with all the latest from the world of Local Food & Drink. Simply go to the Watch Local Food Channel section to find the video bulletins.

We want it to be the voice of producers, no matter how big or small the story, so if you have something you think we should feature, please email news@localfoodchannel.tv.

There are so many food and drink events happening all year round - it's impossible to list them all! However, for a few ideas and recommendations watch our monthly What's On video guide to find out what's happening across the country.

If you are organising an event, or have a recommendation, let us know by emailing news@localfoodchannel.tv and we will try and include it in our monthly round up.
